8. New people you met while there: 3
9. Best and worst thing about the experience: Best, was it was a pr, worst was the high temps
10. How you felt before and after the race/event: before=good, after=tired, hot, dehydrated
11. What challenges you had and overcame/dealt with? GI issues from too many calories on the bike
12. What advice do you have for other swimmers?
13. What would you do differently next time? Less calories on the bike, train more in hills for the run.
14. How did this year compare to last year for the same race/event? 1st time on this course, but a Pr for the distance.
15. What did you experience that you didn’t expect or what have you learned from this experience? 1st off road run in this type race. It was harder than I expected.
16. What essential things should you know/bring with you if this is your first time participating in this race/event? Run in the hills a lot.
17. Do you recommend this race/event and why or why not: It’s a good race, yes I’d recommend it. Maybe not as a first 1/2IM
